Horse Training
Horse training is a large part of who we are and what we love doing. Whether it's working with problem horses, breaking in the youngsters or training future champions we pick the horse up where it is and give it the chance to show the best version of itself.
No matter what the goal is we start with foundation work, making it responsive, supple, building muscles and stamina. We help the animal to see that it is his/her advantage to work with the handlers and not against them. A willing, motivated horse learns much faster than a frightened one or in worst case a horse that entirely shuts down and is not responsive at all.
By combining different learning methods, Classic/Operant Conditioning, Observational learning, and others, we find the most suitable path for each horse, after all personality, health, surroundings and state of mind make each horse an individual.
If a horse is too problematic we might give it a longer break and let it live with our herd for a few months to remember how to be a horse again. But also during training we try to give the animal a good combination between training, exercise and spare time to walk freely and socialize with it's own kind.
Our guest horses are kept in one of our six single open stalls. On special request horses that know each other can be kept together. For horsed that stay longer we offer the option of integrating them into one of our herds and keep them in an open stall.
Stallions are kept in our stallion paddocks. Of course regular access to pastures is guaranteed. Vet checks and Farriers included.

How it works
Upon registration you are responsible for sending us your horse.sim (via email to [email protected]). I have the most common CC, but if your horse has any special markings remember to send them as well. I guarantee that any private markings will not be redistributed and will only be used for your horse.
Depending on the training, which we will discuss beforehand, you will receive at least 3 pictures and regular updates on the progression of the training. The session will be posted on this Website and some pictures on our Blog
